In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as an initiative to adjust to the new normal an online platform for a 3-D Virtual Tour of the Textile Museum has been developed to provide national and international textile enthusiasts access to the present exhibitions titled ‘Thagzo- the Art of Weaving’ and ‘Royal robes- Wangchuck Dynasty ‘.
The Royal Patron of the Textile Museum, Her Majesty the Queen Mother Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck will officially launch the virtual tour exhibition and the website of the Textile Museum commemorating the 41st Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck.
To celebrate the birth anniversary of His Majesty the King, the 3Dvirtual exhibitions can be accessed free of cost from 2 1st February-21st March, 2021.
